2023 Funding Priorities

 
Delta Dental's core purpose is the advancement of oral health care for Kentuckians through our dental benefits programs and philanthropic efforts. In keeping with our corporate mission, we give preference to organizations and initiatives that focus on the improvement of oral health.
 
Grant Cycle Timeline
 
Requests are accepted and reviewed from August 15, 2022 through November 11, 2022. Notifications will be sent to all applicants between December 22, 2022 and December 31, 2022.
 
Applicant Requirements
 
In order to be considered for 2023 grant funding, you must meet the following criteria.
  1. The organization must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or working for community benefits).
  2. Applicants must service or benefit individuals and communities within the state of Kentucky.
  3. The proposal clearly advances oral health care in Kentucky.
 
The following organizations are specifically excluded from receiving grant funding:
  • Individuals
  • Organizations that discriminate by race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or national origin
  • Political activities, organizations, or campaigns
  • Loans
  • Projects developed for commercial or proprietary purposes
  • Past grantees that have failed to provide charitable contribution surveys or other requested documentation
